Shenzhen 2011
Well I thought having the chance and privilege to be part of the coaching staff for the 2009 games was a once in a lifetime experience. It was, but luckily I now have the chance to do it a second time.
This August I will be in China once again as part of the leadership group for Team Canada and the women's soccer team which will represent Canada and the CIS at this event.
All indications are that these games will be among the biggest ever held for FISU. There will be 24 sports (vs. 15 in 2009) and over 10,000 participants (around 7,500 in 2009) so definitely something on a grander scale.
